Double surfskis

A double carries about twice the load of a single, and how it handles depends on how the weight is split between the seats and how well the crew paddle in time.

Paddler weight guidance here is per seat. Check each paddler against it and try the boat together: a large difference between paddlers changes the trim and handling.

Doubles take practice together. If you can borrow one for a season before buying, it's worth doing.
