SeaBird Wave 5.5

5.55m x 55cm beginner ski designed by Björn Thomasson, whose own Spindrift and Spray sit a few centimetres narrower on this list. SeaBird makes the case for very high secondary stability rather than a flat, barge-like platform, and points at long-distance touring as much as at first sessions.

SeaBird Designs is a Norwegian design house whose composite boats are built and shipped by Ceranos Invest OÜ in Estonia. The surfski range is three Wave models on one design language, and the smallest of them is a Björn Thomasson design.
