Stability here means how steady the ski feels sitting still on flat water. Where two craft have overlapping ranges, we can't say which is more stable. Downwind handling is a separate thing, covered in the evidence note below.
Evidence note
Suits: Elite ocean racing and downwind; equally at home slicing flat water (reviewer held ~13-14km/h on glass) and surfing ocean swell. Best for skilled paddlers roughly 65-100kg.
Paddler weight
The estimated sweet spot is 79–92 kg, with a broader estimated guide of 64–95 kg. This estimate is a guide, not a limit. Seat fit, conditions and paddling style matter. Lighter paddlers can still enjoy a larger hull, especially downwind. A test paddle is the best check.

Generations
The DNA's direct ancestor; reviewer Rob Mousley found the CX fast but 'a little tippy.' The DNA name reflects combining the 'genes' of Allwave's previous designs.
Elite flagship, built just outside Rome by Allwave Kayaks (CEO Roberto Spigoli). Refines the CX: cockpit and rudder moved 7cm forward, raised rails for a drier cockpit, slightly more nose volume, longer footwell for taller paddlers; hull rocker unchanged. Full-carbon vacuum sandwich, ~11kg in carbon.
Wide-seat version sold alongside the standard DNA 640: same hull, seat widened from 42.8 to 45 cm, seat and rudder 7 cm further forward. Ibrida 13 kg, Corsa 11 kg, Brushed 10 kg, 1K Brushed 9 kg; A$4,750 to A$6,250 (Allwave Australia).
