Generations
Original 520, straighter rocker line, composite layups included AIR (8.5kg), SCS (11kg), WWR (12.5kg); older catalog also referenced A1 (economy fibreglass/polyester) and E (marathon carbon/kevlar) layups site-wide, though 520 was typically sold in AIR/SCS/WWR.
Revised hull with added concavity at the footwell, lower seat height for a lower centre of gravity, moulded side handles. Nelo copy: easier to do downwind but also easy to paddle quickly on flat water. Constructions WWR (12.5kg) and SCS (11kg).
Same 5.2m x 0.52m dimensions and Stability-8 rating, now sold under the simplified '52' product name. Constructions AIR (11kg) and WWR (12.5kg).

- Comfortable, well-regarded ergonomic bucket, fits a wide range of paddler sizes (ML/L/XXL)

Trade-offs
- Less stable than the wider Epic V8 per direct forum comparisons
- No side handles on some earlier builds (owner has to retrofit grip tape/handle kit)
