Generations
Original design; no side carry handles, older-style bailer; paddlers describe it as noticeably less stable than later gens.
Redesigned hull stamped '2013 design' on the stern; improved stability over Gen 1 but still lacked side handles and the current bailer; era of the now-discontinued 'Club/blue-tip' entry layup.
Added side carry handles and Epic's 4-position foot-operated bailer system; 'current generation provides more stability and a slightly longer waterline' per Epic's own copy.
Increased rocker and a finer, lower-volume V12-3G-style nose for improved downwind surfing; Epic's AU site now sells this as 'V10 (Generation 4)' rather than 'V10 Sport', while the US site still lists a separate, mostly sold-out 'V10 Sport' SKU - naming has become inconsistent between markets.

Trade-offs
- Naming/lineage confusing - current-market boat is really 'V10 4G', not a direct Gen-4 'Sport'
- Gen 1/Gen 2 used examples lack handles and have an inferior bailer, feel noticeably less stable
- Not currently orderable new in the US (sold out) and delisted in AU under this name
- Requires more skill than the V9/V8 Pro in very rough downwind conditions
