DD3 Magnum

Short (5.8m), fairly wide (46cm) high-stability entry hull designed to feel like a beginner ski while carrying more speed than typical trainers. Comfort-oriented seating position that lets paddlers work on technique without fighting the boat, and an easy climb-back-in remount if they fall out.

Marketed as 'super fast, super stable' and 'the fastest beginners/Intermediate ski on the market,' with a comfort-focused seat and easy remount. Still listed in DD3's 2025 catalogue; the dd3.com.au website is now offline (domain lapsed by mid-2026), so current availability is unconfirmed.

Where to buy

The Magnum is out of production. You can only buy it second-hand.

Maker closed DD3 is no longer trading. dd3.com.au has no nameservers at any public resolver and the site behind it is gone, so the Magnum has no live sales channel.

DD3 is no longer made, so second-hand is the only option.

'AUSTRALIAN MADE: $3,595.00' base price per DD3's own Magnum page (dd3.com.au, archived April 2025); AU-only. Layups: Standard fibreglass ~14kg, Innegra ~12.5kg, Super Maxi full carbon ~10.5kg (Maxi carbon also offered). Report's ~$3,400 estimate is close to the $3,595 base.
