## Specifications
- Length: 6.6 m
- Beam: 44 cm
- Deck height: 33.5 cm (estimated)
- Layup weights: Fibreglass 18 kg
- Usually paddled by: Confident ocean paddlers

## Ratings (Surfski Index estimates)
- Stability band 5–7 out of 10 (dimension estimate, low confidence).
- Speed rated 8 out of 10.

Modelled from published beam, length and deck height. Low confidence. Speed is our rating. Both are given at the hull's own design weight.

These ratings are Surfski Index estimates, worked out from published dimensions, traced hull shapes where we have them, and reviews. They are not supplied by the maker or timed on the water. How a ski feels depends on your weight, skill, set-up and the conditions, so use them to shortlist skis and paddle one before you buy. Method: https://surfskiindex.com/how-it-works/#limits

Evidence note: This band is estimated from published dimensions. Qualitative context includes 1 paddler report and 3 linked sources.

## Paddler weight
Estimated sweet spot 76–88 kg, broader estimated guide 62–92 kg. An estimate from hull dimensions, not the designer's intended weight.

## Suits
Ocean training and racing, plus reservoirs and clear rivers.

## Hull
6.6m x 44cm hull modelled on the Epic V10L of the day, in fibreglass at about 18kg with a carbon rudder, a cockpit drain and foot pegs on tracks. Low volume forward, which is why it suits paddlers between about 1.50m and 1.90m and gets uncomfortable above that.

## What works
- Longest hull on this list at 44cm beam
- Carbon rudder and adjustable footplate as standard
- Well regarded by the Brazilian paddling community

## Trade-offs
- Uncomfortable for paddlers over about 1.90m
- 18kg fibreglass is heavy
- Brand has no live website

## Generations
- 2010-2010s: Ygará Caiaques is a Brazilian builder of ocean kayaks for crossings and expeditions. The Xamã was its first surfski, on sale from about 2010.

## What paddlers say
- Reviewed on Sestaro Canoagem by Jefferson Sestaro, who bought one in late 2010 as his first surfski and reported good stability and good performance, saying he was in love with the boat from the start.
